Stay the Course

So many times lately I find myself encouraging someone to “stay the course,” to trust God in the midst of a crisis. This weekend, as we celebrate the freedom God has provided for our country through the valiant sacrifices of so many. I am reminded many of us still have struggles we yearn to be set free from. Freedom from financial pressure, health or relationship problems, addiction, or005 even the pain of losing a loved one.

But freedom is rarely gained without first enduring a time of suffering. “ . . .but we also glory in our suffering. Knowing that suffering produces perseverance, and perseverance character, and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4).

My heart is that no one in our community needlessly go through these difficult times alone. Reach out to friends, family, and to your church. If Donaldson Christian Counseling can help you or someone you know during a time of crisis or heartache, please give us a call or contact us online.

I pray God bless you and your loved ones and keep you safe!

In Christ,

David R. Donaldson, Ph.D
